OTR Garden Tour

Who's growing food in urban neighborhoods in Cincinnati? What birds live around, say, Pleasant St. and Green St.? Join gardeners in OTR to tour five community gardens and hear from the CHPL Bird Nerds' Lea Schull! You'll see how OTR residents nurture nature, grow food and connect with neighbors in an urban environment. You'll get to meet longtime garden coordinators and leave feeling inspired by the possibilities to grow your own food in an urban setting.

Gardens on the tour include:

  • West End Community Garden: 941 Poplar St., Cincinnati, OH 45214 (our starting point)

  • Pleasant Street North Community Garden: Pleasant St. & Liberty St., Cincinnati, OH 45202

  • Pleasant Street South Community Garden: Pleasant St. & 15th St., Cincinnati, OH 45202

  • OTR People's Garden: 49 E McMicken Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45202

  • Permanganic Garden: 1722 Main St., Cincinnati, OH 45202

You're welcome to drive from garden to garden if you prefer. If you'll be joining us in walking, be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring some water!

Cost: Free!
