Invasive vines are incredibly destructive. They climb, tackle and cover native vegetation, making them difficult to remove.
In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn to identify our region’s most common invasive vining plants. We'll discuss why these plants were introduced, what characteristics make them invasive, and which native look-a-likes can be easy to confuse with their invasive counterparts.
This class will include a lecture component and an in-field component. Please come prepared to walk outside.
Please note: This class is NOT focused on removal techniques, but we will share resources that provide removal information with participants.
