Meet the Presenter: As the CGC’s Urban Agriculture Coordinator, Kymisha Montgomery supports a network of over 60 community gardens through network development, organization, trainings and technical advice. She got her gardening start at a local community garden, where she gained a wealth of information but was eager to feed her new fascination with growing food. Misha is a graduate of both the Ohio State University Master Gardener Program and the Cincinnati State College Dietetics Program. Throughout her pre-CGC career, she has combined growing food and healthy eating to change practices and policies within the Department of Corrections, assisted UC Hospital’s food service department with composting and sustainability efforts, managed public greenspaces and served on the Greater Cincinnati Food Policy Team. She is also a monthly guest on WVXU’s gardening show.
