​Feed your little one from the farmer’s market—not the big-box store!

There's no need to exclude your baby from healthy, local eating. As babies begin to explore new foods it’s important to develop their passion for healthy, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Give them the best!

This hands-on workshop will cover the basic skills needed to create healthy, organic, preservative-free baby food products. It'll help you shift away from processed products and preservatives and eliminate unknown ingredients in your baby’s food. You'll learn simple ways to create your own recipes walk away feeling empowered to cook healthy food for every member of your family. You'll also take home recipes and a silicone mold for freezing prepared meals for your baby.

The workshop is geared toward beginners; those with experience are welcome to share their success stories. Bring your little one(s) for taste testing! Children and infants are welcome to attend with their guardians.

Instructors: Mary Dudley (mom of two and CGC Sustainability & Ecology Education Coordinator) and Jenn Wallace (mom of one and long-time supporter of local food)

Cost: $20 / $15 for active CGC volunteers
