Pycnanthemum tenuifolium
Mountain Mint

  • Mountain Mint is a pollinator powerhouse, with a multitude of white flowers and slender, aromatic leaves.

  • It grows to about 2 ft tall and can spread across sunny or partially sunny sites in a variety of soil conditions.

  • Deer resistant.

  • Leaves can be brewed into a minty tea and used to soothe an upset stomach. They also make a pleasant seasoning for sweet or savory dishes.

  • Horticulturist’s Notes: Mountain Mint can be pruned heavily in late spring to encourage a denser form and more blooms.
