You’re Invited!

June 18th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, is our first annual Family Fun Day event. Bring your family and friends and come enjoy tours, live music, food, and lots of games and activities for kids and adults alike!

Here’s the schedule for the day:

  • 11:00 am - 11:30 pm: Garden tours and scavenger hunt

  • 11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Cincinnati Museum Center Underground Railroad: Recreate elements of the Underground Railroad through pictures, slave shackles, photographs, maps, navigational tools, and true stories of historical figures. Discover the resourcefulness, courage, and determination of freedom-seeking enslaved people and abolitionists. 30 participants max; register here.

  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: CSO Music Lab: The CSO Music Lab allows community members to experience what it's like to hold or play an orchestral instrument. Register here.

  • 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Family yoga with Hue Yoga (please bring your mat, if you have one!)

  • 2:15 pm - 3:15 pm: Cincinnati Museum Center Walking City: Explore how geographic factors kept Cincinnatians confined to the downtown basin and learn why our city remained a walking city longer than most. Use a two-by-three-foot period map, map key, advertisements, and illustrations to perform a series of tasks that help you understand what life was like in 1863 Cincinnati. 30 participants max; register here.

  • 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Garden tours

That’s not all!
