Planting for Birds

  • The Civic Garden Center of Greater Cincinnati 2715 Reading Road Cincinnati, OH, 45206 United States (map)

Do you love seeing birds hanging out in your yard?

Bird feeders are great, but they only invite a few select birds into your yard. To attract a greater diversity, you need not only a consistent food source, but also habitat and water.

This class will teach you the ins and outs of making your yard into a haven for birds of all kinds. Topics covered include how to manage your yard to attract birds and what to plant to provide seasonal food sources to some of our region’s most beautiful and unique birds.

Presenter: Greg Torres – Naturalist, Horticulturist, and Conservation Technician for Cincinnati Parks
Cost: $10 / free for active CGC volunteers
