Humans have made plenty of changes to the natural world to suit their own needs, often leaving out the original (plant) inhabitants in the process. But could it be possible to transform a space into one that once again allows plants to thrive?
This class will take place in a garden which has been successful in reclaiming land for plants. Tour the grounds of this urban oasis and witness crops spring from soil trapped for years underneath a tennis court. You'll gain new confidence in the resilience of plants and the knowledge base to provide a home for them in the most unlikely of places.
Free & open to the public! However, please register so that we can notify you in case of weather-related schedule changes.
This class will take place at the St. Bernard Community Garden: 505 Tennis Ln., St. Bernard, OH 45217.
