This class is sold out. Meghan is teaching another class in her garden on July 17, though!

Explore the many purposes of herbs and their medicinal values grown locally in our Melrose Medicinal Garden with Ethnobotanist Meghan Henshaw. We’ll also explore the Indigenous importance of sweetgrass followed by a hand-on demonstration.
Meghan has spent many years studying the plethora of ways in which medicinal plants are woven into the fabric of everyday life. This has led her all over the United States and abroad to Morocco, England, Mexico and Italy, where she has worn the hats of field researcher, wildcrafter, herbalist and educator.
Free & open to the public! However, please register so that we can notify you in case of weather-related schedule changes.
This class will take place at the Melrose Medicinal Garden: 2647 Melrose Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45206
