Join us in the garden! The West McMicken Community Garden has recently expanded their garden. The new addition was previously a blighted and abandoned lot that they’re transforming to a usable green space.

The workday will include mulching, filling garden beds, weeding and planting flowers and seeds along with other tasks to aid the gardeners in this project.

Please bring a reusable water bottle and wear closed-toed shoes. If you have a favorite pair of working/gardening gloves, bring them! We will also provide gloves. There’s free parking along W McMicken outside of the garden. The garden is offset from the road, but you’ll see the stone steps that lead to it.
