This is a classic morning practice. Surrounded by nature and beginning with the most revered of all yoga sequences, known as Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara), this practice will warm up the muscles thoroughly. This enables us to move into the postures that follow more safely and far more effectively. As expected, this class makes one more flexible but also opens the energy channels throughout the body (known as meridians) while educating you about the Five Great Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air & Space) and how their symbolic qualities correspond to each channel. Classes end with a meditation upon each Element as well.
