Aronia melanocarpa ‘Ground Hug’
Ground Hug Black Chokeberry

  • Ground Hug is, as the name suggests, a low-growing cultivar that does well in most garden conditions. It produces white flowers in spring, bright red fall color and edible black berries that often remain through winter.

  • Aronia berries were traditionally valued for their antioxidant health benefits. They are bitter but can be cooked into jams, juice, and wine.
