  • Native to Arkansas and Oklahoma, this plant produces clusters of light blue flowers in spring.

  • Feathery foliage turns bright yellow in fall.

  • Blue Star grows about 3 feet tall and wide in full sun to part shade and well-drained soil.

  • Deer resistant. 

  • Horticulturist’s Notes: If plants become floppy after flowering, cut back foliage by 6 inches to form a neat mound
