Growing vertically is a great option for small spaces or to increase production in your garden. By reducing the footprint of your large, sprawling plants to just a few square feet, techniques such as trellising can really expand your garden space.
In this beginner-friendly class, we'll discuss the benefits of letting certain crops climb and explore various ways to take your garden to new heights. We'll identify the crops that benefit most from trellising and some of the various methods that can be used in vertical gardening.
Instructors: Kymisha Montgomery (CGC Urban Agriculture Coordinator) and Mary Dudley (CGC Ecology Education Manager)
