Hauck Volunteer Group

  • Civic Garden Center 2715 Reading Rd Cincinnati, OH, 45206 United States (map)

Leaf litter is an asset in our urban environment. This workday will be spent collecting leaf litter and creating leaf litter piles. As the leaves decompose, they will provide vital nutrients to our trees and help them retain moisture. They'll also provide habitat for overwintering insects.

Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and working/gardening gloves, if you have them (otherwise some will be provided). We'll meet by the Green Learning Station (the building with solar panels located in our parking lot).

Want to join us? Make sure you’re registered as a CGC volunteer, then…

Please reach out to volunteer@civicgardencenter.org with any questions.
