At this workday, we'll be working on repotting some of our native plants. These plants will eventually be planted on our grounds or find new homes in community gardens, on school grounds, etc. Until then, they need bigger pots! We'll also be cleaning up the area around our pond.
Tasks for this workday will include removing plants from their current pots and preparing their new soil and pots. This type of job is less physically demanding but requires focus and precision. The garden clean-up will be more physically demanding.
Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and working/gardening gloves, if you have them (otherwise some will be provided). We'll meet by the Green Learning Station (the building with solar panels located in our parking lot).
