Achillea millefolium ‘Terra Cotta’
Terra Cotta Yarrow

  • A yellow-flowering cultivar of tough and wide-ranging yarrow.

  • Grows to an average height of 2 ft in dry sunny sites with good drainage.

  • Can spread through rhizomes over time.

  • Drought tolerant and deer resistant.

  • Traditionally used to stop bleeding and for wound care.

  • Yarrow attracts many beneficial insects and is a popular groundcover plant in Permaculture Food Forests.

  • Horticulturist’s Notes: Cut yarrow back after flowering to encourage a bushier form and a second round of blooms.
