Achillea millefolium ‘Terra Cotta’
Terra Cotta Yarrow
A yellow-flowering cultivar of tough and wide-ranging yarrow.
Grows to an average height of 2 ft in dry sunny sites with good drainage.
Can spread through rhizomes over time.
Drought tolerant and deer resistant.
Traditionally used to stop bleeding and for wound care.
Yarrow attracts many beneficial insects and is a popular groundcover plant in Permaculture Food Forests.
Horticulturist’s Notes: Cut yarrow back after flowering to encourage a bushier form and a second round of blooms.
